1st year fellows (2025-2027)
Rachel Vcherashansky

I was born and raised in Long Island, NY. I am a first-generation American. I completed my BS in Health and Human Services with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. My passion for serving others grew from seeing the barriers my grandparents have faced in healthcare not only as immigrants, but as part of the geriatric population.
As a senior in college, I began working in senior living as a receptionist which gave me an insight into the complexities of our healthcare system, especially from the lens of the elderly population. From personal experiences and working in the geriatric population, I realized how barriers continue to exist. It pushed me to pursue a master’s degree at New York University in health administration part-time, while working full time in senior living as a move-in coordinator.
In my free time, I love trying new restaurants, all the farmer’s markets, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I I am excited to begin my journey as a fellow at WellSpan Health!

I always wanted to be part of the healthcare industry, and with my family background in business I wanted to connect the two in some way. I am from Savannah, Georgia and moved to Atlanta for my undergraduate degree at Georgia State University in Computer Information Systems concentrating in Cybersecurity.
In my senior year I worked as an optometric assistant and knew that I had found my niche. I wanted to confirm this decision so; after obtaining my BBA, I completed a summer internship at Savannah Neurological and Spine Institute. At Barry University, in Miami, I double majored in Health Services Administration and Public Health. During the program I was fortunate to gain exposure to both inpatient and outpatient settings through my roles as Unit Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Medical Office Specialist, and Supervisor of Nursing Operations. Each role gave me more exposure and affirmed that I wanted to be in healthcare.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, going on hikes, trying new recipes, and exploring new cities and areas.

2nd year fellow (2024-2026)
Jennifer Reynaud
At the age of nine, I migrated from Honduras to Queens, NY. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from CUNY City College during that time I worked at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant.
My motivation to pursue an MHA and delve deeper into healthcare leadership stemmed from the disparities I experienced growing up in a developing country, as well as those I witnessed in my surrounding communities. Thus, pushing me to pursue my Master of Health Administration from NYU Wagner during which time I worked at Mount Sinai Health System as a Research Associate and later as a Project Coordinator.
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, watching TV, and spending time with family.
